Staff

Insert-Disc is run by an elite team of commandos who really have it together. We are aware of our trash days, keep our guns cleaned and ready, and put organic alfalfa sprouts on all our sandwiches. Also sophisticated and monocle wearing.

Editors

Evan “BakaTanuki” Krell

When people have business propositions, they generally go to Evan, probably due to his unique “charm” and “dashing” “good” looks. (Actually go to Contact@Insert-Disc.com) Girls dream about him at night and who can blame them.(Editor’s Note: Hey Evan, I know nightmares are technically dreams, but the way you have it phrased now is pretty misleading.) Evan writes mostly about games and anime, but plans to expand into writing on other media as well. Most importantly he never leaves the house without some kind of cool hat from his extensive collection. Also shurikens.

Kyle “lwelyk” LaCroix

Kyle is an efficient fellow who gets the job done. He writes often and is much less of a creep than Evan. Ladies take notice- Kyle enjoys appreciating the fun in bad fanfiction, bad movies, bad books, and very likely bad dates as well. Video games are his primary area of expertise and doesn’t have a proper respect for mecha series. He also has listened to every single Sonic the Hedgehog song with lyrics and could likely sing any of them to you, whether you want to hear it or not.

Patrick “Patz” Sutton

Patrick is helpful and regular in the podcasting, and writes about Japanese cartoons. He also can be seen at some major conventions including  New York Anime Fest and Otakon. He is a huge mecha fan with a love of Gundam and GaoGaiGar. He lives by the words “Courage and Guts are the Key to Victory”. He also has both The Touch and The Power. After all is said and done, he is a winner, he’s nobodies fool. He is at his best when the going gets tough. He can commonly be found in the the eyes of storms.

Writers

Jason “Jase” or “Ecks” Byrne

JRPG fanboy who enjoys writing controversial posts with very poor grammar and feeding trolls. He is also the Canadian and a constant reminder that all the weird things you hear about Canada are true. He wants to marry the webcomic Megatokyo and dreams about giant robots at night. Also has a strong familiarity with ecchi. Like Kyle, he will grace you with his remarkable singing abilities without any solicitation.

Brittany “Emmy” Treichel

Fangirl gone writer, she is the female around here and the closest thing to fanservice on this site. Undoubtedly kawaii kawaii desu desu. Sorry lonely otaku, she is taken so get your filthy hands off of her this instant. Emmy likes ponies, pink dresses, other girly things that girls like because she’s a girl, she loves horses, is crazy about Elvis, and her boyfriend too, and Red Lobster’s Admiral Feast.

Devin “Mace” Nelson

Devin writes articles and has a shrine in his room dedicated to Super Mario Galaxy it looks great next to the one dedicated to Banjo Kazooie. Likely the best role model to children here, Devin is not a horrible person who likes to laugh at the misfortune of others like most of the rest of us. He is also the local bard.

John “A Party Associate” Greenwood

John is a regular on the podcast playing the eccentric APA. In reality though, John is nothing like his fictional podcast counterpart; APA is much too subdued to be an accurate portrayal of John. He enjoys the more insane things in life, and will suddenly switch topics without using proper turn signals.

Tim “gildedlink” Staley

Tim likes to write about PC stuff and has played the ultra-nerdy EVE Online’s free trial. This means that for once in their lives, the rest of the staff gets to pretend that they are not nerdy and often beat up poor Tim.

Other

Sean Barnett

Sean doesn’t have a cool nickname because he’s lame. A friend of John who used to merely listen to the podcasts, he now is a regular host. He may or may not take up writing for the site some time. He is also British, meaning he clearly wears a monocle and top hat at all times, he is often heard having tea and crumpets while on the show.

Ok so I know Brit in real life and all I can say is one part of your description of her cannot be further from the truth. Im not sure if its supposed to be a joke (even if it isn’t, I still laughed my head off) because not once of my year in a half of knowing her have I ever seen her in the color pink. I think I might even be girlier than Brit. Although she is still very cute though. Love ya Brittany!

Yes, it is a joke. XD We know more about Brittany than she would ever imagine us knowing. heheheh.

To be fair, what I know of Ecchi is purely the funny stuff on Sankaku Complex XB

Yes, it is a joke. Picturing her in a pink frilly dress with ribbons in her hair is hilarious though.
