Worst Column Ever - Musicals are fun!

Musicals are some of the most interesting creatures on our planet. They can be doing the most mundane of tasks before dancing around while singing a song about mustard. Unfortunately, there was a time not long ago where musicals had lost their popularity, and musical unemployment was at a record high. Thankfully the advent of the internet has created a bevy of smaller jobs for musicals and full-scale productions are beginning to grow there as well. So to commemorate the good times musicals are having, let us take a look at the life of an average musical.

In early childhood, musicals are often vaguely educational. Puppets and large, friendly monsters are very common during this period of a musical's life. Sadly, this happy-go-lucky outlook is slowly eroded over the years as the harshness of reality sinks in.

As a young musical grows, it spreads out to catchier songs that fit into actual plots, many of Disney's movies are child musical stars. Unfortunately, older musical actors can have a harder time finding work as studios prefer to use child musical actors because of how easy it is to implement them.

Puberty is awkward for musicals as well, bad Youtube videos are the only employment they can find outside of the occasional musical episode or a tween series such as High School Musical.

Some musicals go onto prestigious universities such as Yale, but many more never attend college at all. Unfortunately, there are not many available jobs for adult musicals outside of Broadway, so many do not see the point of furthering their education. More protective musical parents will force their children into religious songs, some of them can turn out pretty awkward. Musicals who can't get jobs on Broadway and other common workplaces are forced to enter the cold, unfeeling corporate world. Here their souls are crushed into nothingness by the daily grind.

Still, those musicals that work hard can eventually become big hits, and, thanks to the internet, become popular the world 'round.

To finish things off, older musicals can remain classics for generations if they are good enough. Those not as popular die peaceful deaths as they are slowly forgotten.
