Insert-Disc the incredible magazine of an indian chieftain's dying wishes

For a couple months, the Insert-Disc staff has been working on a project. And by "Insert-Disc staff", I actually just mean me. Probably because its a really bad idea that only I think could go somewhere.
Insert-Disc is going to launch a print and digital magazine.
The print versions will be sold though various outlets, and I already know of one store interested in carrying it. I hope to get many stores from around the country selling the magazine, but we'll see how that goes. The magazine's price will only cover the cost of production, and I will not be making any money off of this magazine. Stores, however, will be free to charge their own price.
There are a couple reasons for the pricing. Most importantly, I am hoping to have contributions from other writers in the magazine. I'm not enough of a businessman to ensure that everyone would be properly paid. I don't want to complicate this, as the main reason for this magazine is to have people reading it. I picture some interested customers at their local gaming store seeing it for a cheap price, and buying it out of curiosity and the retro appeal of a fanzine. Despite the age of digital outlets, I believe there is still a market and for and love of traditional print. I'm interested to see how we will adapt to a magazine format.
Of course, the limited print run will only go so far. Two months after each issue is released, a pdf copy will go online for free. Everyone will get a chance to read this magazine. This will be stated on the print magazine, but I'm hoping the low price and collectible appeal will encourage buyers despite that. Everyone will get to read it, but having a real copy I feel is a pretty cool bonus.
The magazine is going to have a narrower focus than the Insert-Disc website. In fact, the magazine's title will be completely different. This is a magazine focusing on retro and indie games. I've already written a few articles and have several more planned out covering classics such as the Mario Land series and Bonk's Adventure. But also more odd games such as Wrath of the Black Manta. I mentioned indie games, but I am not referring to the artsy games that everyone keeps talking about. I am referring to independent games that feel like retro gaming- such as my article highlighting various doujin shooters.
There is a lot planned for this magazine, and I am very open to contributions. Remember, you will not be receiving any currencies, but there will of course be a plug for your site in the contributors page.
The magazine is scheduled for a Summer 2010 release.

Yes, I know about Colony Drop's fanzine. I didn't used to visit there often, so I only learned about that last week. Colony Drop is working on an anime magazine though, so I don't see a big deal at all.
